How many SPF is enough?

The amount of SPF you need depends on several factors, such as your skin type, the intensity of UV radiation in your area, and the length of time you plan to be exposed to the sun. Generally speaking, most dermatologists recommend using a sunscreen with an SPF of at least 15. If you will be spending a lot of time outdoors or if you are fair-skinned, you may want to use a higher SPF, such as 30 or even 50.

Is SPF 30 or 50 better?

SPF 30 and SPF 50 both offer good protection from the sun’s UV rays. Generally, SPF 30 blocks 97% of UVB rays and SPF 50 blocks 98%. However, SPF 30 is usually recommended for everyday use, as SPF 50 can cause skin irritation and is not necessary for everyday use.

Is SPF 50 too much?

SPF 50 is considered the highest level of sun protection available, so it is generally considered to be too much for everyday use. For daily use, SPF 15 or 30 is recommended. However, if you are spending a prolonged period of time in the sun, such as during a beach vacation or a long outdoor activity, it may be wise to use a higher SPF, such as SPF 50.
