How do you know if your hair is naturally curly?

You can tell if your hair is naturally curly by looking at the shape of your hair follicles. When hair is naturally curly, the follicles are curved, creating a spiral shape. If your hair is straight, the follicles are shaped like an oval or cylinder and the hair will grow in that shape. Additionally, if you have naturally curly hair, it will generally have more volume and body than straight hair.

How do you reveal your natural curls?

Revealing your natural curls is a great way to show off your unique style and texture. The first step is to make sure your hair is properly hydrated and nourished. Use a rich, moisturizing shampoo and conditioner to keep your curls looking hydrated and healthy. Once your hair is prepped, you can use a curl defining product to give your curls definition and shine. You can use a curl cream, gel or mousse, depending on your hair type. Make sure to apply the product evenly throughout your curls and then scrunch the curls with your hands or a microfiber towel to encourage the curl pattern to form. Finally, let your curls air dry or use a diffuser to help them dry without causing frizz.

Is my frizzy hair actually curly?

Frizzy hair can be a sign of curly hair, but it is not necessarily the same thing. Frizz is caused by lack of moisture in the hair, which can make the strands look unruly and undefined. Curly hair, on the other hand, is characterized by well-defined spirals and coils that are usually springy and bouncy. If your hair is frizzy, you may want to try using a deep conditioner and leave-in treatment to help smooth and define the curls.
