Why do Muslims have beards?

The practice of growing a beard is one of the most widely recognized symbols of Islamic culture. For many Muslims, the beard is seen as a sign of religious piety and maturity. It is also seen as a symbol of strength, manliness, and wisdom, while also being a sign of modesty and humility. In some cases, Muslims may choose to grow a full beard as a sign of respect for the Prophet Muhammad.
