Soundness of mind

What is the longest you can go without an oil change?

The general recommendation is to change your vehicle’s oil every 3,000 to 5,000 miles, depending on the type of oil you use and the type of vehicle you have. If you use synthetic oil, you may be able to extend the oil change interval to 7,500 miles or even 10,000 miles. However, if you wait too long between oil changes, the oil can become contaminated with dirt, dust, and other debris, leading to increased wear and tear on the engine.
