Red Vines is a brand of red licorice candy manufactured in Union City, California by the American Licorice Company.

Where did Red Vines come from?

The American Licorice Company was founded in 1914 in Chicago, IL and began making something known as Raspberry Vines in 1920. In 1952 they tweaked the flavoring and renamed them simply Red Vines.

Are Red Vines Canada?

It is not normally available in Australia or Canada, although there might be some smaller retailers that import Red Vines® and re-sell it.

Where does red licorice come from?
