How do you know if your purging?

Purging is a type of disordered eating behavior that involves a person engaging in recurrent episodes of binge eating or eating large amounts of food in a short amount of time, followed by an attempt to rid the body of the food consumed by vomiting, using laxatives, or exercising excessively. If you think you may be purging, look for signs such as spending a lot of time in the bathroom after meals, frequent trips to the bathroom during meals, using laxatives or diuretics, and avoiding social situations involving food. Seeing a doctor or therapist can help you get to the root of the issue and develop healthy coping strategies.

What does skin purging look like?

Skin purging typically looks like small, red bumps on the skin that can resemble acne. It is usually accompanied by itching, burning, stinging, or tenderness. Purging can affect any area of the skin, but is most common on the forehead, nose, chin, and cheeks. It can also affect the chest, back, arms, and legs. It is important to remember that skin purging is not the same as a breakout, and should not be treated as such.

How do you know if purging is working?

To know if purging is working, you can check your web server log files. If the cache is being purged, you should see a «Cache Purge» entry in the log. Additionally, you can use a web debugging tool such as Chrome Dev Tools to inspect the headers of your website and see if the cache-control header has been updated. This will tell you if the cache was successfully purged.
