Do cows cry before they get slaughtered?

It is not known whether cows cry before they are slaughtered. Cows are generally seen as docile animals, and some research suggests that they do not show signs of distress before being slaughtered. However, it is also possible that cows may not show signs of distress due to the way they are treated before they are slaughtered. Many cows are kept in crowded conditions and are not given the opportunity to express their emotions, so their behavior before being slaughtered may not necessarily be indicative of their feelings.
