Ergonomics includes more than just office chairs. There is a whole industry devoted to proper office ergonomics. Ergonomic is the relationship between you, the equipment and the environment for productive activity in daily living. Normally this area is related to the working environment, because of the risks involved in operating machinery. Productive activity is also used in the home, using equipment or machinery, therefore should also be considered as ergonomic. The difference is that the work at home is not paid employment!
