Soundness of mind

Why does my pill feel like it’s stuck when I swallow?

It is possible that your pill is stuck due to a variety of factors. The pill may be too large to pass through your esophagus, or it may be lodged in a narrow area of the throat. Additionally, if you are taking a medication that causes constriction of the esophagus, that could cause your pill to become stuck. If you are concerned about the pill becoming stuck, you may want to talk to your doctor or pharmacist to see if there are any alternatives that may be easier to swallow.
